Dale Elliott is a delivery driver and grocery worker whose closest bond is with his rescue mutt—loyal, anxious, and unwilling to be alone. When anomalous strangelet particles alter the dog’s biology, that bond becomes literal.

In moments of emotion or danger, the dog merges with Dale, forming Bro9—a shared body powered by instinct, loyalty, and a refusal to separate.
